Pip's Favorite Bacon and Turkey Recipes

This post is not such a serious topic this time; actually, it's about Thanksgiving Turkey and the leftovers!

While my fondness is for bacon, I do get excited about turkey this time of year. I’ve been searching out recipes for bacon-izing the turkey, or at least the leftovers from our feast this year. There are as many ways to cook a turkey as there are stars in the sky, but this year I'd like to sample some bacon-ized versions of roast turkey, and for a fantastic turkey sandwich for using the leftovers.I'll probably have lots of turkey leftovers this year and that is great because the third recipe almost makes me want to skip ahead to the leftovers just to try it! Please share your turkey and bacon recipes in the comment section.Incredible Bacon-Wrapped TurkeyThis roast turkey recipe from Something New for Dinner has an incredible woven bacon jacked for the turkey, with herb butter too. The stuffing made with cornbread, cream, sage and onions has my name on it! I actually cook this stuffing separately in a buttered baking dish. Turkey, Bacon, Radicchio and Blue Cheese SandwichesIf the picture on this recipe from Bon Appétit doesn't make you hungry, I don't know what will. It has got to be one of the most tantalizing sandwich photos I've ever seen. Oh, and if you are not a blue cheese fan, I bet your favorite sandwich cheese will do more than please.
